This four week Class teaches us how to live intentionally with deep and meaningful relationships the way God intended.  It teaches us how to Live Passionately, Love Completely, Learn Humbly, and Leave Boldly.  The authors, Kerry and Chris Shook, ask us to examine ourselves and compare the daily choices we make with God's purpose for creating us.  The ask us to examine our choices against the backdrop of life if we knew we only had a short time to live.  When we choose to live God's way, we find a God's loving and meaningful expression in our daily lives.

In this nine week study, John Ortberg invites you to consider the incredible potential that awaits you outside your comfort zone.  Out on the risky waters of faith, Jesus is working to meet you in ways that will change you forever: deepening your character and your trust in God.  The experience is terrifying.  It's thrilling beyond belief.  It's everything you'd expect of someone worthy to be called Lord.

This old teastament survey covers the first five books of the bible from Genesis to Deuteronomy.  It begins with the creation of Heaven and Earth and of the creation of man.  This survey will also cover Lucifer's attempt to overthrow God's authority.  It includes Israel's bondage and deliverance and God's giving the Law to Moses.

The survey of the Gospels reveals a picture of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Each gospel is written from a different perspective ( a Jew, a Roman, a Greek, and a common man) in order to get the whole picture of Christ.  The first four books of the New Testament, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, will be explored.  These four gospels will reveal the good news from God.

This is a twelve week study by author and pastor John MacArthur. This class helps the Christian believer unlock the riches of God by realizing that God longs for a deep, personal, and intimate relationship with us. We learn how to go past the written words by opening our hearts to a richer, more personal knowledge of God. We learn how to open the doors to grow in grace and faith. Building on the personal relationship with God, the believer learns how to study scripture, function in the body of Christ, and how to share their faith.

This class, “Survey Of The Minor Prophets” will cover the twelve minor Old Testament books on prophecy from Hosea through the book of Malachi.  The minor prophets are no less significant than the major prophets; the books are simply shorter than those considered to be the major prophets.

This is a 36 week study dealing with topics of the practice of personal Christianity, Paul’s Christianity as an example for Christians of all ages, the practical themes from Paul’s trials and sufferings, with the predominant word in the book being “tribulation”. This study shows that Christians are not miraculously protected from trouble but suffer inconveniences in order to reach the highest places in life. The book is divided into the following three sections: the endurance of the Christian, the ministrations of the Christian, and the commendations of the Christian.

In this eight-week course, you will overcome your fears of sharing the gospel as you learn yet another biblically based witnessing technique.  With this technique, you will learn how to avoid argument and appeal directly to the conscience – the way Jesus did.

This class is designed to provide a basic understanding of

and help you decide God’s will in the question of your membership in the church.

The spiritual gifts class will help you identify the unique way that God created you. It will lead you to discover the potential that God has created in you by discovering both your spiritual giftedness and your behavioral blends. This uniqueness helps you to better understand where you fit in God’s design and what you need to do to participate in expanding the Kingdom of God here on earth. Knowing your potential gifts gives your life meaning and purpose.

Becoming A Contagious Christian is a six week class.  Written by Bill Hybels and Mark Mittelberg, this book presents an extraordinary insight into how you can effectively communicate your faith in Christ to others.  In this personalized approach to relational evangelism you will:

• Discover your own natural evangelism style
• Develop a contagious Christian character
• Build spiritual relationships
• Learn to direct conversation toward matters of faith
• Share biblical truths in everyday language

Consider this class a blueprint for starting a spiritual epidemic of hope and enthusiasm for spreading the Gospel.  The reward can be life’s greatest thrill ----- leading a friend or loved one to the Savior.

  “Just Walk Across The Room” builds on the “Becoming A  Contagious Christian”.  In this class you will learn:

• How to “ Live In 3 D “
• Develop Friendships
• Discover Stories
• Discern the appropriate next steps in sharing  the good news of Jesus Christ with people living far from the Lord.

The “Plugged In” class is for everyone who has completed the   “What We Believe” and  Spiritual Gift Classes.   “Plugged In” overviews the opportunities to serve God in Jesus Christ Community Church, the core values of the church and how we serve together in teams.  This learning opportunity answers many questions about how we can serve God.  

This is a twelve week class developed by author Henry Blackaby. The class will enable you  to develop a more intimate, intense relationship with God.  Through this study, you will learn how to recognize when God is speaking to you, recognize when God is working in your life and recognize when God is working around you. It will show you how to understand the importance of His timing and how to respond obediently. The result of this obedience is a fresh and exciting spiritual walk with God.

This class, “Survey Of The Major Prophets” will cover the five major Old Testament books on prophecy.  The prophets that we will study are:  Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel and Daniel.
